About Sattar

ستار
حسن ستار در آبان ماه 1328در تهران متولد شد.دوران نوجوانی خود را مثل بسیاری ازهنرمندان و ورزشکاران در محله شهباز تهران گذرانیده است . ستارتحصیلات خود را در دبستان و دبیرستان اقبال به اتمام رساند و لیسانسش را در رشته اقتصاد بین المللی ازمدرسه عالی بازرگانی دریافت نمود.
اولین آهنگ ستار << خانه به دوش >> نام داشت که بر اساس سریال معروف خانه بدوش ( مراد برقی ) که پرویز کاردان بازیگر و کارگردان آن بود در 22 سالگی اجرا نمود. این آهنگ با شعری ازایرج جنتی عطائی وآهنگی ازبابک بیات سر آغازی شد تا ستار با خواندن آهنگهای همسفر - شهرغم - صدای بارون - سرسپرده - شازده خانوم-گل سنگ و ده ها آهنگ دیگر به شهرت و محبوبیت برسد . ستار تا به امروز بیش از دویست آهنگ و ترانه اجرا کرده که بیشترین آنها در رده ی آهنگهای ماندنی در عرصه موسیقی کشورمان بوده است.
ستار با صدا و حنجره ی استثنائی و همچنین علاقه خاصی که به موسیقی اصیل ایرانی دارد در هر دو سبک موسیقی پاپ و اصیل ایرانی یکی از بهترین هاست. وهر دو نوع موسیقی را بسیار زیبا و ماهرانه اجرا می کند. ستار به عنوان یک هنرمند با شخصیت مورد احترام جامعه و همکاران خود می باشد . او به ورزش فوتبال نیز علاقه زیادی دارد وبه عنوان بازیکن و کاپیتان تیم فوتبال هنرمندان سالیان درازی است که به بازیگری ادامه میدهد.(در ضمن ستار دوران خدمت سربازی اش را در مشهد گذرانیده است(0
خانواده ی ستار
ستار با خانومی که دو دختر 8 و 5 ساله داشت ازدواج کرد. و بعد از آن احتمالا در سال 1363 صاحب دختری دیگربه نام شیلا شد. اسم دو دختر دیگر ستار شینا و شیداست.
ناگفته ها از ستار
ستار در ۱۷ سالگی در یک فروشگاه دوربین به نام رشید در محله شهباز کار میکرده. نام صاحب فروشگاه هم رشید بوده. ستار از طریق دوست صمیمیش (محمد آخوندی) که خودش هم اونجا کار میکرد معرفی شده بود. الان محمد تهران زندگی میکنه و کارش هم بساز بفروشیه . خیلی هم پولدار شده.
آدرس اونجا هم اینه: سر چهارراه صفا - کنار قنادی ژوکند ( البته فکر نکنم الان اثری ازشون باشه).
درباره آلبوم جدید ستار هم باید بگم که دلیل تاخیرش بیماری خانومشون بوده که چند سال مریضی سختی داشتن ولی خوب خدا رو شکر مثل اینکه جراحی کردن وخوب شدن

Hassan Sattar (known as Sattar, Persian: ستار ) is an Iranian pop and traditional/classic singer. He had gained fame before the Iranian Revolution and became Pahlavi Royal Family court singer up until the political upheavals of the late 1970s. He left Iran in 1978 and has taken residence in the United States since then.
Sattar was one of the six siblings born into a Russian father (a Baku immigrant) and an Iranian mother. His fame began at the age of 22 with the release of the theme song Khaneh Bedush for Morad Barghi, a popular television show in Iran. The show made him an instant star. His next hit came with the TV series "Ghesseye Eshq"" made by Mansour Poormand. Young, handsome and talented, he soon became a pop icon. His signature song is Hamsafar. With over 35 years of fame, Sattar has over 70 hits which includes internationally known song of Gol-e Sangam. Among other hit songs are Shazdeh Khanoom, Gol-e Pooneh", "Aakharin Talash", "Kashki Shah Boodam", "Khaki" and many more.

Sattar has recorded over 270 songs and is among very few Persian singers who performs both Persian Traditional and Classic music properly.

According to a scientific study of Persian music by a group of academicians from Liszt Music Academy, Trinity Music School, IFSI - Department of contemporary studies in Europe and The New Mexico Music Center in the US in 2004 - 2005, Sattar was emulated and short listed for having the 'Best Melodic Voice' in Persian pop music that eventually earned him an Honorary Doctorate in Music by IFSI Institute in European Union in 2004 as well as other awards on its following years.

As for his traditional/classic performance skills, he is recognized among the top five male master artists of contemporary Persian traditional/classic music, namely: Golpa, Iraj, Shajarian, Sattar and Hooshmand Aghili. According to the other four named masters, Sattar has been always accurate and up to the point in his classic performances. Among his classic records we can name the album "In Memo of Darius Rafee".

Sattar is a Persian Academy Award winner who gained two Persian Golden Lioness Awards conferred by the World Academy of Arts, Literature and Media - WAALM in 2005.

Having over 100 million fans around the world he performs at Persian festivals and concerts worldwide.
